Mike Bliss  --

Mike Bliss began his career racing Quarter Midget cars at the age of 10. Before taking the USAC Silver Crown National Championship in 1993, the Milwaukee,07driver1.jpg (164502 bytes) Oregon native raced stock cars, midgets, super modifieds and sprint cars while gaining the attention of fans and race teams alike. Mike began his NASCAR racing career in 1995 in the Craftsman Truck Series, finishing eighth in championship standings his rookie season while also winning seven USAC Sprint Car races, three USAC midget races and a Silver Crown race that same year. 

Mike’s early success in NASCAR racing continued as he completely dominated the Truck Series in 2002 with five wins, thirteen top-five and eighteen top-ten finishes earning Mike the NCTS Championship. Mike had prior successful starts in the Nationwide and Cup Series, and in 2003, driving a full schedule in the #20 Chevrolet for Joe Gibbs, Mike posted eight top-five and fourteen top-ten finishes to end the season tenth in points. Mike began driving for Key Motorsports in 2007, running the first four Races of the NCWTS Season. He continues the relationship in 2010 for the #40 Chevrolet Impala in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Mike lives with his wife, Sue, and daughter, Britney in Mooresville, N.C

CHAD CHAFFIN --

The 39-year-old Chaffin has seen action in all three of NASCAR’s major touring series but has made his mark in the Craftsman Truck Series.

Having started at least two races in the last eight NCTS seasons, Chaffin enters the 2008 season with 102 career starts. He has won twice on the circuit and has notched 11 top 5 and 29 top 10 finishes. He surpassed the $1 mark in earnings with his 8-race stint with Key Motorsports in 2007 in which he posted the team’s best-ever finishes with a 7th at Martinsville and an 8th place effort in Talladega in the fall.

The Murfreesboro, Tennessee driver will be driving for Key Motorsports for the third time in his career; having started the 2006 campaign with the Mooresville, NC organization and driving for the first seven races before leaving to dedicate himself to a NASCAR Nextel Cup Series opportunity. Chaffin’s racing background included late models in his native Tennessee and the first-ever USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup crown back in 1997.

Chaffin is married, and he and wife Cindy have three children in daughter Brooke and sons Chase and Chaz.
